Help define the future of Minnetonka
Public Schools!
Minnetonka School
District is seeking parents, community
members and staff volunteers to serve on
six strategic action planning teams to
develop plans for the future. If you
have ever wondered how ideas turn into
programs or actions in Minnetonka
Schools, now is the time to get
involved!
First
Meeting of all Teams is Monday, February
4, 7 – 9 p.m. at Minnetonka High School
in the cafeteria.
- Team 1: We will provide
educational experiences that meet the
individual needs of learners, not
limited by existing boundaries such as
time, space or social structures.
- Team 5:
We will ensure that our learners will
possess the attributes and abilities to
thrive in the 21
st
Century.
Team 6:
We will inspire students to
understand and serve the greater good.
Team 7:
We will ensure connectedness that
facilitates mutual awareness,
understanding and support among all
stakeholders.
Team 8:
We will support ongoing physical,
mental and emotional health and
well-being of students and staff.
Team 9:
We will ensure the financial
prosperity of our school district.
Where are teams 2 –
4? They completed their planning work
in 2002 and 2005.
Teams will meet weekly
February – May with all work due by
Memorial Day. Meetings typically last
about three hours and require about one
hour of preparation between meetings.
Total time commitment about 50 hours
over four month period. This is a
finite commitment through May. Meetings
times vary by team.

2008 for individuals interested in serving
on the Science Standards Review Committee.
